CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (AP) - Keiana Gilbert scored a career-high 27 points and made a critical block in the last minute Wednesday night as Chattanooga stunned No. 4 Tennessee 67-63.

The score was tied 63-all in the final minute when Tennessee's Andraya Carter made a midcourt steal and drove to the basket, but Gilbert blocked the shot and Chattanooga's Alicia Payne got the rebound and was fouled. Payne made one of two free throws to put Chattanooga ahead for good with 53 seconds left.

Jasmine Jones scored a career-high 19 points for the Lady Vols, which rallied from a 17-point deficit. But she also missed two shots in the final 22 seconds that would have tied the game or put Tennessee ahead.

This marked the second straight time Tennessee has lost at Chattanooga's McKenzie Arena. Chattanooga stunned Tennessee 80-71 two seasons ago to spoil the head coaching debut of Tennessee's Holly Warlick.

No. 6 TEXAS 72, TEXAS-PAN AMERICAN 45

AUSTIN, Texas (AP) - Kelsey Lang scored a career-best 20 points to help sixth-ranked Texas beat Texas-Pan American.

Lang, a 6-foot-5 sophomore center, set her previous high mark less than a week ago, scoring 14 as the Longhorns upset Stanford on Nov. 20. She was 10 of 13 from the field.

Brady Sanders and Tasia Foman scored 10 points apiece for Texas (4-0). Another guard, Brianna Taylor, led the Longhorns in rebounds with 11.

Shwante' Goff led Pan American with 15 points.

UTPA (3-3) had played then-No. 5 Texas A&M tough 10 days earlier in Chicago before losing by two. But they were never competitive against Texas. The Broncs didn't make their first basket until 4:26 into the game. They had missed their first five shots, committed two turnovers, and trailed 9-0.

No. 7 TEXAS A&M 93, MCNEESE STATE 27

COLLEGE STATION, Texas (AP) - Courtney Williams scored 21 points and No. 7 Texas A&M jumped all over McNeese State.

Williams, who missed the first four games because of a suspension, returned to the starting lineup and scored 15 of her points in the first half. She played 18 minutes in the win over Prairie View A&M on Monday.

The Aggies (6-0) led 54-14 at halftime, in scoring its most points in a half since also scoring 54 four years ago in a 96-52 victory at San Diego State, the same season the Aggies went on to win their lone national title.

Five minutes into the second half on Wednesday, the Aggies had quadrupled the Cowgirls (3-2) to the tune of 64-16.

Amber Donnes led McNeese with seven points.

No. 16 MICHIGAN STATE 79, OAKLAND 64

EAST LANSING, Mich. (AP) - Aerial Powers scored 24 points and grabbed 16 rebounds and Michigan State beat Oakland.

Tori Jankoska added 19 points, Anna Morrissey 11 and Jasmine Hines 10 for the Spartans (3-1). Powers is the first player in the MSU women's basketball program to open the season with four straight double-doubles.

Olivia Nash led the Golden Grizzlies (1-3) with 17 points and seven rebounds. Elena Popkey added 14 points and Nola Anderson 12.

Michigan State made 18 of 38 shots for 47.4 percent in taking a 41-27 halftime lead over Oakland. Powers had 16 points and seven rebounds. The Golden Grizzlies shot just 30 percent in opening half.

Michigan State led by as many as 20 points in the second half.

The Spartans dominated the boards, 52-25, including 14 offensive rebounds as they scored 42 points in the paint to Oakland's 26.

No. 22 GEORGIA 66, COLGATE 35

ATHENS, Ga. (AP) - Shacobia Barbee scored 16 points and dished out five assists to lead No. 22 Georgia to a rout of Colgate.

Georgia led 19-17 with 6:54 remaining in the first half, then forced eight turnovers during a 13-2 run to build a 32-19 halftime lead. The Bulldogs (6-0) led by double digits the rest of the way, and finished with 16 steals.

Barbee was 7 of 13 from the field, and was one assist shy of her career best. Merritt Hempe added 10 points for the Bulldogs.

Colgate's Carole Harris hit the first bucket after the break. The Bulldogs answered with an 11-0 run to lead 43-21 with 13:49 to play.

Harris scored 14 points on 6-of-13 shooting to lead Colgate (0-4), which shot just 13 of 42 for 31 percent from the field.

No. 22 WEST VIRGINIA 83, EVANSVILLE 39

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (AP) - Bria Holmes scored 32 points to lead West Virginia over Evansville 83-39.

The Mountaineers (3-1) scored the first seven points of the game and raced out to a 16-3 lead before Evansville could settle in as the Purple Aces (1-3) missed 9 of their first 10 shots. Sara Dickey's layup with 5:14 in the half cut the deficit to seven, but West Virginia used a 15-3 run to close the half and lead 41-22 at the break.

West Virginia pounded the ball inside after the break - its first six field goals were all layups - with Averee Fields and Holmes taking advantage underneath. Fields finished with 12 points on 5-of-9 shooting. Teana Muldrow had nine points and nine rebounds for WVU, which out-rebounded Evansville 62-31.

Dickey paced Evansville with 16 points, but was just 4 of 21 from the floor.
