SOUTH BEND, Ind. (AP) - Jewell Loyd scored 23 points and Brianna Turner finished with 20, leading No. 2 Notre Dame to a 112-52 victory over Quinnipiac on Tuesday night.

Loyd went 8 for 12 from the field and 7 for 7 at the line. Turner made eight of nine shots, and also went 4 for 5 at the line.

The Irish (6-0) had a 13-0 lead before Maria Napolitano hit a 3 for Quinnipiac's first basket 3:44 into the game.

The Bobcats (3-2) had no answer for Turner, who repeatedly turned lob passes in the low post into easy baskets or trips to the foul line.

Notre Dame led 57-30 at the break and opened the second half with a 25-13 surge over the first 10 minutes.

Samantha Guastella led the Bobcats with 17 points.

No. 8 DUKE 88, BUFFALO 54

DURHAM, N.C. (AP) - Freshman Sierra Calhoun had 21 points, and Duke had five players score in double figures.

Elizabeth Williams added 14 points and 10 rebounds for Duke (4-0), and redshirt freshman Rebecca Greenwell had 10 points and 13 boards. Azura Stevens scored 12 points and Erin Mathias finished with 11.

It was Williams' second double-double of the season, and Greenwell has three on the year.

Camera Miley led Buffalo (2-2) with 15 points, and Alexus Malone scored 14 in the teams' first meeting.

Duke shot 44 percent and had a school-record 69 rebounds. Buffalo shot 25 percent from the field and had 31 boards.

No. 12 LOUISVILLE 89, WESTERN KENTUCKY 67

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) - Bria Smith had 22 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists, and Louisville shot 52 percent from the field.

The Cardinals (5-0) outrebounded the Lady Toppers 48-36. Louisville's Sara Hammond had 16 points and 10 boards.

Alexis Govan and Chastity Gooch had 20 points apiece for Western Kentucky (3-2).

Louisville's lead reached 34 points in the second half, and the Cardinals cruised down the stretch.

No. 17 IOWA 73, NORTHERN IOWA 45

IOWA CITY, Iowa (AP) - Ally Disterhoft scored 18 points and Samantha Logic added 13 with seven rebounds as Iowa rolled past Northern Iowa.

The Hawkeyes (5-0) shot 43.3 percent from the field and hit eight 3-pointers. Whitney Jennings added 12 points with four assists. Logic also had four assists and Disterhoft grabbed six boards.

After leading by five at halftime, Iowa pulled away with a 21-3 run.

Jen Keitel led the Panthers (1-2) with 13 points and 11 rebounds.

No. 20 OKLAHOMA STATE 73, MORGAN STATE 43

STILLWATER, Okla. (AP) - Brittany Atkins scored 17 points and Oklahoma State shook off a slow start against Morgan State.

Brittney Martin added 14 points and Liz Donohoe had 10 for the Cowgirls (4-1), who extended their home winning streak against nonconference opponents to 36.

The Lady Bears (2-4) were led by Tracey Carrington with 15 points and Braennan Farrar with 12. Morgan State shot just 26.2 percent, going 3 of 19 from 3-point range (15.8 percent).

No. 21 RUTGERS 81, WAGNER 53

NEW YORK (AP) - Betnijah Laney had 22 points and 11 rebounds, Kahleah Copper scored 20 and Rutgers coasted to a win over Wagner.

Laney was 10 of 14 from the field. Copper added seven boards as the Scarlet Knights outrebounded Wagner 43-28.

Tyler Scaife had 15 points, seven rebounds and six assists for Rutgers (4-0). Briyona Canty had 11 points, five assists and six steals.

Jasmine Nwajei scored 16 for Wagner (0-3), which made seven 3-pointers in the first half.

No. 22 GEORGIA 93, GEORGIA SOUTHERN 52

ATHENS, Ga. (AP) - Merritt Hempe scored 17 points and Shacobia Barbee added 16 as Georgia reeled off several impressive scoring runs to defeat Georgia Southern.

Erika Ford had 15 points and Tiara Griffin scored all 14 of her points in the first half for the Lady Bulldogs (5-0), including four 3-pointers. Georgia owned a 43-29 advantage on the boards and forced 32 turnovers with 23 steals.

Georgia opened on a 19-4 run and closed the first half with a 16-0 spurt.

Patrice Butler scored a career-high 13 points for the Eagles (1-3).

No. 25 MISSISSIPPI STATE 80, LOUISIANA-MONROE 46

STARKVILLE, Miss. (AP) - Sherise Williams scored 15 points to lead Mississippi State over Louisiana-Monroe.

Mississippi State held Louisiana-Monroe to 2-of-18 shooting in the first half as the Bulldogs jumped out to a 48-13 lead at the break. The defense forced 32 turnovers and held Louisiana-Monroe to 34.2 percent shooting for the game.

Blair Schaefer had 11 points, six rebounds and four assists for Mississippi State (5-0). Ketara Chapel added 10 points and six rebounds.

Alayshia Hunter made both first-half field goals for Louisiana-Monroe (1-2) and finished with 12 points. The Warhawks were 11 of 20 from the field in the second half.
