JCPS launching fundraising campaign

The 2014 Major Saver Discount Card campaign launches in Jefferson City on Dec. 3.

Last year, participating students helped the Jefferson City Public Schools Foundation and participating schools raise more than $38,500.

Elementary and middle school students will be selling the $15 cards with 19 buy-one-get-one-free offers, starting Dec. 3 through Dec. 17.

The offer includes savings at Sonic, Firehouse Subs, Downtown Diner, Old Brickhouse, Papa Murphy's, Brew House, Spectators, Culvers, Cold Stone Creamery, Roly Poly, Kate & Ally's, Colton's, Madison's Café, Lee's, Baskin Robbins, McDonalds, Chili's, HyVee and Casey's.

Major Saver cards can be purchased via cash, check or online at www.majorsaver.com. Interested buyers may also contact the foundation at 659-3549. If cards are purchased online, the sale will be credited to a particular student or the foundation.

All cards purchased online will be mailed directly to the customer.

The proceeds from these sales will benefit the participating schools and the Jefferson City Public Schools Foundation. For more information or to purchase a card, call 659-3549.
