WAYNE, Neb. - Tyler Rush and Addie Mengwasser helped their respective Missouri Southern teams to good finishes Saturday at the the NCAA Divison II Central Regional Meet.
Rush (Linn High School) finished 36th for the Lions in 32:55.20.
The Missouri Southern men totaled 93 points to finish third. Augustana was first with 28, followed by Sioux Falls with 82.
Mengwasser (Chamois High School) finished 62nd for the Lady Lions with a time of 23:45.74.
Missouri Southern finished with 150 points, Minnesota-Duluth was first with 59, while Augustana was second with 59.
The top four teams advance to the Divison II National Championships, which will be held Dec. 6 in Louisville, Ky.
Emily Cumpton (Blair Oaks High School) finished 129th for Southwest Baptist in the women's event with a time of 25:11.51
Southwest Baptist finished fifth with 175 points.
