Don't start your Christmas shopping without looking through the Thanksgiving edition of the News Tribune.
The biggest advertising newspaper of the year will include inserts from up to 30 different advertisers and hundreds of dollars in savings.
Unlike many newspapers, the News Tribune will distribute the massive edition on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving, not on Thanksgiving Day. The early delivery gives readers the opportunity to get a head start on their Black Friday shopping list.
For non-subscribers of the newspaper, Circulation Director Mike Johns recommends people go to nearby stores and vendors. Because of the larger size of the paper, fewer newspapers can fit into the distribution racks. News Tribune staff will be replenishing local store locations that run out of the edition.
Non-subscribers can be guaranteed to receive a copy delivered to their homes by subscribing to the News Tribune. To begin a home-delivered subscription, call the News Tribune circulation department at 573-636-3132. The department's hours of operation are: 5:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays, 6:30-10:30 a.m. Saturday or 6:30-11:45 a.m. Sunday.
