TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) - Rondae Hollis-Jefferson scored 19 points and No. 2 Arizona used a stifling defense in a decisive second-half run to give the Wildcats a 71-54 victory over Cal-Irvine on Wednesday night.

The Wildcats (3-0) trailed from late in the first half until their defense intensified in a 15-0 run midway through the second half. The Anteaters (2-1) went six minutes without a point and committed five turnovers during the outburst.

Arizona's best offense was at the foul line, where the Wildcats made 29 of 34, 11 of 13 by Hollis-Jefferson. Cal-Irvine was 9 of 13 at the line.

T.J. McConnell scored 12 points and Brandon Ashley 11 for the Wildcats. Freshman Stanley Johnson had 10 points and 10 rebounds.

Luke Nelson and Travis Souza scored 11 apiece for UC-Irvine.

No. 3 WISCONSIN 84, GREEN BAY 60

MADISON, Wis. (AP) - Nigel Hayes scored a career-high 25 points and grabbed 11 rebounds to help Wisconsin beat Wisconsin-Green Bay.

Hayes, who averaged less than eight points and three rebounds a game as a freshman, has now reached double digits in rebounds in all three games to start the season.

Frank Kaminsky added 20 points and 15 rebounds for the Badgers (3-0).

Keifer Sykes scored 20 to lead Wisconsin-Green Bay (1-1).

The Badgers had a commanding edge on the boards and free throw line. They outrebounded the Phoenix 45-31 and Wisconsin hit 24 of 37 from the line, while Wisconsin-Green Bay was 12 of 18.

CREIGHTON 65, No. 18 OKLAHOMA 63

OMAHA, Neb. (AP) - Zach Hanson caught Devin Brooks' air ball along the baseline and put it in the basket for the go-ahead points in the last minute, and Creighton came back from an 18-point deficit to upset Oklahoma.

The Bluejays (3-0) used a 24-4 run to get back in the game after a dismal first-half shooting performance.

Chatman hit a couple of free throws to make it a four-point game with 24 seconds left, but Oklahoma still had a chance after Devin Brooks missed three free throws in the last 14 seconds. Jordan Woodard missed a desperation 3-pointer at the buzzer.

Austin Chatman had 17 points and Toby Hegner and Isaiah Zierden 11 apiece for Creighton.

Buddy Hield led the Sooners (1-1) with 21 points. TaShawn Thomas added 14 and Ryan Spangler had 11.
