BERKELEY, Calif. (AP) - Reshanda Gray scored 17 points on 8-of-12 shooting as No. 14 Cal won its home opener on Tuesday night, defeating Nevada 76-54.

Mikayla Cowling hit 3 of 4 3-pointers, scoring 13 points as the Bears shot nearly 50 percent from the field (30-61) and made 7 of 13 3-pointers.

Brittany Boyd scored 13 points with seven assists and two steals - moving to No. 10 on the Pac-12 all-time steals list with 274.

Nevada's T Moe scored 22, one shy of her career best, after recording the program's first triple-double in the season opener (19 points, 12 boards, 11 assists).

As a whole, the Wolfpack had a cold shooting night - 31.6 percent (18-57) and just 1 of 11 3-pointers.

Gray scored 11 in the first half including three points in a 7-0 rally when Nevada went cold for about three minutes and never recovered.

No. 18 DEPAUL 101, BRADLEY 77

CHICAGO (AP) - Brittany Hrynko scored 19 points, had eight assists and seven steals to lead the DePaul women past in-state rival Bradley.

Hrynko has scored 19 in three of DePaul's four games this season.

Chanise Jenkins and Megan Rogowski added 16 apiece for DePaul (3-1). Megan Podkowa had 11 points and 10 rebounds, and Megan Podkowa and Ashton Millender contributed 10 apiece.

Fantasia Vine scored 13 for Bradley (0-2), Michelle Young had 11 and Charnelle Reed added 10.

DePaul opened the second half with a 19-6 run to lead 74-45 and pushed it to 90-61 with 8 minutes left.

In the first half, Bradley got within 39-36, but DePaul outscored the Braves 13-3 to take a 52-39 lead at halftime led by Hrynko's 15 points and Jenkins' 12.

No. 22 RUTGERS 74, NORTHEASTERN 60

PISCATAWAY, N.J. (AP) - Betnijah Laney had 14 points with 13 rebounds, Briyona Canty finished with 12 points and 10 assists, and No. 22 Rutgers pushed past Northeastern.

The Scarlet Knights shot 53.3 percent from the field and had four starters score in double figures. Tyler Scaife scored 15 points and Kahleah Cooper had 10.

Rutgers (2-0) overcame an early 12-6 deficit and pulled ahead with an 18-2 run spanning from the end of the first half to the 17:19 mark in the second. Rachel Hollivay made two free throws and a layup to spark a 12-0 surge that put the Scarlet Knights up by 27 with 10:58 left.

Northeastern (1-1) sank nine 3-pointers, but were held to 18-of-49 shooting overall and committed 22 turnovers. Tiffany Montagne led the Huskies with 22 points, while Samantha DeFreese and Kazzidy Stewart had 13 apiece.

No. 24 GONZAGA 88, IDAHO STATE 63

SPOKANE, Wash. (AP) - Shaniqua Nilles scored a career-high 18 points off the bench, Sunny Greinacher added 15 and Gonzaga dominated the second half in a win over Idaho State.

The Bulldogs (2-0), who have won 28-straight regular-season home games, made 37 of 48 free throws, their most in a game going 33-45 in December 2006, as the Bengals had 37 fouls with four players fouling out.

Idaho State had a lead late in the first half thanks to a 13-0 run and trailed 41-40 at the break. Washington State scored the first 40 points in beating the Bengals 84-34 on Friday. Gonzaga opened the second half Tuesday on a 15-4 run that turned into a 31-9 run.

Gonzaga turned 23 ISU turnovers into 30 points and had 46 points from reserves.

Grace Kenyon and Rebecca Schrimpsher had 11 points each for ISU.
