The Gym-Zzouri gymnastics and cheer teams recently competed.
The gymnastics team traveled to St. Louis for the Missouri Judges' Cup Invitational and the cheer team traveled to Sedalia for State Fair Spirit Classic National Cheer and Dance Competition.
The cheer team was Division champions. The team members are Jaidyn Nshunju, Paige Roark, KaShya Levi, Brenda Willow and Alexandria Willow.
For the gymnastics team, the Xcel Silver Division team was third, the Xcel Gold Division team was fourth and the Xcel Diamond Division team was second.
These gymnasts won the following awards:
• Xcel Silver Division, 10-year-old age group - Lilly Hensley: seventh vault, fourth bars, ninth all around (34.80); Lena Brown: sixth vault, seventh bars, sixth floor, seventh all around (34.785).
• Xcel Gold Division, 12-and-older - Stephanie Miller: ninth vault, sixth beam, 10th all around (34.375); Tessa Uhlman: fourth beam, ninth all around (34.45); Victoria Hartman: second vault, 13th all around (33.95); Betsy Morello: 11th bars, 17th all around (32.95).
• Xcel Gold Division, 11-and-under - Audrey Muessig: fifth bars, ninth beam, eighth all around (34.325); Kailee Parker: 10th bars.
• Xcel Diamond Division, all ages - Rachel Holt: fifth vault, fifth bars, third beam, fifth floor, fifth all around (33.45); Maisy Borden: third vault, first bars, second beam, third floor, first all around (34.875).
