Dear Editor:
Each year before Halloween is even over, the "merchandising" begins in the guise of Christmas giving.
It has nothing to do with Christ's birthday, but shopping and selling and buying useless gifts for people who don't need any more stuff.
Why can't the world realize that the division between the "have's" and "have not's" has increased and our shopping should be to support the hundreds of charities in the names of our loved ones.
There is no better gift than that!
