LIBERTY - The Missouri S&T Miners clinched a berth in the Great Lakes Valley Conference Tournament by winning their regular-season finale on Saturday.
The Miners beat William Jewell 25-20, 25-15, 19-25, 25-16. That, combined with Missouri-St. Louis' loss at Truman State, secured the final automatic bid from the West Division of the GLVC for S&T.
Krista Haslag (Helias High School) had a team-high four blocks for the Miners, and she added eight kills and two assists.
S&T is now 17-12 overall and the Miners went 12-6 in GLVC play.
