Continuing work to close section of Business 50 west of Jefferson City on Monday.
As work continues to improve Business 50 in Apache Flats, the westbound and center turn lanes will be closed for about two weeks, beginning at 9 a.m. Monday.
The road will be closed between the House of Bargains store and South Binder Lake Road.
The eastbound lane will remain open.
However, it will remain eastbound only and not be used for alternating traffic.
The westbound traffic will be detoured on Pioneer Trail to Rainbow Drive.
The contractor will be removing the road surface and the subgrade, then replacing the pavement.
The work is expected to last two weeks, weather permitting.
A county news release said this is the "last major phase" of the project that has been rebuilding and improving the road, which once carried U.S. 50 through the area.
