ROLLA, Mo. - Missouri S&T's Krista Haslag was named to the Capital One academic all-district for the second consecutive year Thursday. Haslag's selection to the all-district squad makes her eligible for Academic All-America honors, which will be announced in December.
Haslag (Helias High School) leads the Miners in kills (279), kills/set (2.74), attack percentage (.331), total blocks (112) and blocks/set (1.10) She ranks second in the GLVC in total blocks, third in hitting percentage and fifth in blocks/set. Haslag also ranks 14th amongst the national leaders in total blocks.
She is a two time All-GLVC selection and was the GLVC co-Freshman of the year in 2012 and a third-team AVCA All-American as a freshman. Haslag, a civil and architectural engineering major, is also a two-time Academic All-GLVC honoree.
