The Helias and Fatima volleyball teams, fresh off of trips to their respective Final Fours, reaped the benefits recently when they combined to have seven players earn all-state honors.
Helias, which captured the Class 3 state title by rolling through a season with 43 wins, no losses and just one tie, had four all-state players. Seniors Erica Haslag and Lindsey Griggs were joined by junior Ashley Dudenhoeffer as first-team selections, while junior Blake Berhorst was a second-team honoree.
Fatima, meanwhile, finished its season with a record of 34-4-2 and a second-place finish in Class 2.
The Lady Comets had three all-state players.
Senior Haley Luebbering and sophomore Tara Buthod were first-team picks, while junior Emily Keilholz was a second-team selection.
