Your Opinion: Study finds non-citizens voting in elections

Dear Editor:

I'd like to call your attention to a National Review Online article "Jaw-Dropping Study Claims Large Numbers of Non-Citizens Vote in U.S." by Jim Geraghty. ( http://www.nationalreview.com/campaign-spot/391134/jaw-dropping-study-claims-large-numbers-non-citizens-vote-us-jim-geraghty ).

Quotes from the article: "Our data comes from the Cooperative Congressional Election Study (CCES)". "More than 14 percent of non-citizens in both the 2008 and 2010 samples indicated that they were registered to vote.

Furthermore, some of these non-citizens voted. Our best guess, based upon extrapolations from the portion of the sample with a verified vote, is that 6.4 percent of non-citizens voted in 2008 and 2.2 percent of non-citizens voted in 2010."

How can any patriotic American not be furious at this statistic? How can any American citizen continue to vote for these liberal Democrats who are continually pushing for amnesty for illegal immigrants to get their vote at the same time fighting against voter ID laws?

I'll tell you how! As long as the money holds out such that they can keep buying votes by providing more and more of the addictive handouts while destroying the American job market forcing more people on to the handouts why would anyone not keep voting them in? It's a vicious cycle that will guarantee the destruction of our guaranteed freedoms and create a Communistic society that will fail just like the old Soviet Union.

The way to stop it? Every American citizen needs to vote against any politician that supports or has supported any of Obama's policies! Stand up for America, our freedoms and protections as guaranteed by our Constitution and Bill or Rights and vote. It could be our last chance to save our great country!
