JC man charged with crack cocaine

A Jefferson City man is facing multiple charges after the MUSTANG Drug Task Forced served a search warrant Thursday.

Jordon White, 28, 314 Buchanan St., is charged with possession of crack cocaine, unlawful possession of a firearm and possession of drug paraphernalia.

As of Friday, White was being held without bond in the Cole County Jail.

When authorities searched his home, they found a 9 mm Beretta handgun, loaded with 10 rounds of ammunition. They also found crack cocaine on a plate in a kitchen drawer along with a digital scale and packaging materials.

White has served time in prison for second-degree assault and resisting arrest, and is prohibited from having a firearm.
