South Callaway rolls past Hallsville

Advances to district football championship

MOKANE, Mo. - South Callaway shut out Hallsville in a Class 2 District 7 semifinal blowout on Friday night.

The Bulldog defense held the Indians to just 23 yards of total offense.

South Callaway's offense accounted for 202 yards through the air and 205 yards on the ground.

Cory Hanger had six touchdowns for South Callaway.

Two came on receptions, two were scored on runs, one came on an interception return and one was scored on a punt return.

Dylan Hare also accounted for two touchdowns for the Bulldogs. Both of his scores came on receptions.

The Indians end their season with a 8-3 record.

South Callaway (11-0) will play the Lafayette County Huskers (11-0) in Mokane next Friday at 7 p.m.
