MINNEAPOLIS (AP) - Maya Moore had 26 points and had nine rebounds and the Minnesota Lynx beat the San Antonio Stars 88-72 on Friday night to improve to 6-0.

Lindsay Whalen added 19 points, and Damiris Dantas had 17 for the defending WNBA champion Lynx (6-0). Jia Perkins scored 15 points, and Danielle Adams and Danielle Robinson had 11 each for San Antonio (3-3).

Minnesota outscored the Stars 33-10 in the third quarter to break open a close game.

Dantas had eight points and Janel McCarville seven, including a 3-point play after stealing a pass under the basket, as Minnesota used a 22-6 run to start the third and turn a 3-point halftime deficit into a 58-45 lead. Moore scored on a putback and made a 3-pointer a couple minutes later to make 65-45.

SKY 101, SUN 82

ROSEMONT, Ill. (AP) - Elena Delle Donne scored a season-high 28 points and the Chicago Sky just missed a franchise record for points, beating the Connecticut Sun 101-82 on Friday night.

The Eastern Conference-leading Sky (5-1) beat the Sun (1-5) for the second time in nine days. The Sky scored a record 102 points in a regulation game at Phoenix on May 27, 2013.

Jessica Breland had a career-high 18 points and added 10 rebounds, six assists and five blocks. Sky guard Allie Quigley tied a career-high with 15 points off the bench, and Courtney Vandersloot had a team-record 13 assists.

Connecticut reserve Kelsey Bone had 20 points.

MERCURY 100, SHOCK 78

PHOENIX (AP) - Diana Taurasi scored 16 points and Erin Phillips added 15 in Phoenix's victory over Tulsa.

Brittney Griner added 14 points, five rebounds and four blocked shots for Phoenix (3-1).

Riquna Williams had 27 points off the bench for Tulsa (0-4). Skylar Diggins had 20 points and four assists for Tulsa after being held to two points in the first 17½ minutes of the game.

DREAM 80, STORM 69

ATLANTA (AP) - Tiffany Hayes scored a season-high 20 points, Angel McCoughtry had 18 points and eight assists, and Atlanta beat road-weary Seattle.

Atlanta (3-2) snapped a two-game losing streak.

Crystal Langhorne led Seattle (1-5) with 21 points and 11 rebounds. The Storm (1-5) capped a five-game trip, including four straight at Eastern Conference sites.

MYSTICS 68, LIBERTY 60

WASHINGTON (AP) - Ivory Latta scored 10 of her 15 points in the final 4 minutes to help Washington beat New York for it first home victory in three games this season.

Kia Vaughn added a season-high 14 points, and rookie Jelena Milovanovic had a season-high 14 for Washington (2-2). Cappie Pondexter led New York (2-3) with 20 points, and rookie Anna Cruz added a season-high 12.
