ELDON, Mo. - The Helias Crusaders advanced in five track and field events, while the Lady Crusaders moved on in four Saturday at the Class 3 sectional meet.
The Helias boys finished fourth as a team, while the girls tied for seventh with Eldon.
Helias won a pair of relays - the 4x200-meter and the 4x400-meter. Josh Woodruff of the Crusaders was first in the 200-meter dash.
On the girls side, Kaitlyn Shea was first in the 3,200-meter run for Helias.
The Class 3 state championships start Friday at Dwight T. Reed Stadium.

The Blair Oaks Falcons moved on in five events in Class 3 Sectional 3 action Saturday.
The Falcons won one event Saturday. Nick Yaeger was first in the 1,600-meter run.
