Jefferson City house fire probed

The cause of a Monday morning house fire in Jefferson City is under investigation.

The fire at 1112 Jobe Drive was called in around 9:30 a.m.

When fire crews got to the scene, there was heavy smoke coming from the home.

Fire crews got the fire under control in about 10-15 minutes.

A woman was treated for smoke inhalation, and firefighters also rescued and revived two cats from the home.

The bedroom areas of the home suffered severe fire damage.
