The Jefferson City Jays defeated the Helias Crusaders 9-0 in a tennis dual Thursday at the YMCA Firley Center.
Singles results included: David Clausen defeated Ethan Lesko 8-0; David Steinemeyer beat Caleb Seidel 8-2; Spencer Bone was an 8-2 winner against Kirk Twehous; Dane Biesemeyer won 8-5 against Jeremy Wolters; Joey Mendez beat T.J. Hagenhoff 8-2; and Josh Morris won 8-3 against Ryan Pollock.
In doubles, Steinmeyer and Bone were 8-1 winners against Seidel and Wolters. Clausen and Mendez won 8-0 against Lesko and Twehous, while Biesmeyer and Morris won 8-2 against Hagenhoff and Pollock.
The dual was moved from Washington Park due to Thursday's rainy conditions.
The Jays end the season with a record of 13-8, while Helias finishes at 5-5.
Jefferson City and Helias will both open district tournament action Monday. Jefferson City will host Sedalia Smith-Cotton, while Helias will play at Camdenton.
