VERSAILLES - The Calvary Lutheran Lions survived a marathon game Tuesday with the Versailles Tigers, carving out a 12-10 win in 10 innings.
Beau Monson pitched six innings of relief to get the win. He allowed four runs, none earned, on five hits while striking out 11.
Monson also had a pair of hits and scored five runs. Hance Sommerer went 3-for-6 with one RBI and two runs scored; Wyatt Archer had two hits, two RBI and two runs scored; and Bradley MacLaughlin had two hits and three RBI.
Calvary (12-4) will play Belle and Plato on Saturday at Belle.
