Osage takes 9-0 decision

The School of the Osage Indians posted a 9-0 win against the Helias Crusaders in boys tennis action Monday at Washington Park.

Falling in singles for Helias were Ethan Lesko (8-2), Caleb Seidel (8-0), Kirk Twehous (8-0), Jeremy Wolters (8-5), T.J. Hagenhoff (8-3) and Ryan Pollock (8-6).

In doubles, Seidel and Wolters lost 8-0, Twehous and Lesko fell 8-5 and Pollock and Hagenhoff lost 8-4.

Helias (5-4) will return to action at 4:30 p.m. Thursday against Jefferson City at Washington Park.

Helias also fell 3-2 in Monday's JV match. Winning for Helias were David Huber in singles (9-7) and Braden Toebben and Clint Braun in doubles (8-6).
