TORONTO (AP) - Defender Doneil Henry made two mistakes that led to New England goals in the Revolution's 2-1 victory over FC Toronto on Saturday.
Henry, who missed three games with a knee injury, was charged with a hand ball in the penalty area in the 82nd minute. Lee Nguyen picked up his fourth goal of the season on the penalty kick for the winner.
Henry's turnover in the 24th minute led to the first goal for the Revolution (4-3-2). Daigo Kobayashi capitalized and sent a through ball for rookie Patrick Mullins, whose left-footed strike beat diving goalkeeper Julio Cesar to tie the game 1-1. It was Mullins' first career goal.
Toronto (3-4-0), which has lost three straight, got a goal from A.J. Soares in the sixth minute.
WHITECAPS 3, EARTHQUAKES 2
VANCOUVER, British Columbia (AP) - Pedro Morales scored two goals a minute apart in the first half and the Vancouver Whitecaps edged the San Jose Earthquakes.
Morales scored on a penalty kick in the 19th minute and kicked a shot in from about 20 yards out in the 20th minute. Kekuta Manneh also scored a goal and added an assist for Vancouver (3-2-4), which earned its first win in five games.
Chris Wondolowski scored both goals for San Jose (1-3-3) - in the 45th minute and in second-half stoppage time. The Whitecaps had a goal disallowed in the 81st minute when Gershon Koffie was called for getting his hand on the ball just before he scored.
REAL SALT LAKE 3, FIRE 2
BRIDGEVIEW, Ill. (AP) - Joao Plata scored twice in the final 24 minutes, including the winner in stoppage time, to help Real Salt Lake remain unbeaten with a victory over the winless Chicago Fire.
Alvaro Saborio tied it 1 second into stoppage time for Real Salt Lake (4-0-5). Plata, who cut the Fire's lead in half with a 12-yard shot in the 72nd minute, beat Chicago's Sean Johnson with the winner in the 93rd minute, halfway through stoppage time.
The Fire (0-2-6) scored twice in the first 30 minutes. Mike Magee and Juan Luis Anangono beat Real's Nick Rimando from close range, with Anangono doing so on a pretty header set up by Greg Cochrane.
RAPIDS 1, GALAXY 0
COMMERCE CITY, Colo. (AP) - Vincente Sanchez scored in the 20th minute, leading the Colorado Rapids past the Los Angeles Galaxy.
Sanchez, who sat out the second half with a sore left knee, curled a shot between two defenders to record his team-leading fifth goal. The goal gave Colorado (4-2-2) its first lead before the 60th minute this season
Clint Irwin posted his third shutout.
Robbie Keane missed wide of the right post on a penalty kick in the 62nd minute for Los Angeles (2-2-2), which had its four-game unbeaten streak snapped.
Landon Donovan failed to become the career MLS scoring leader, remaining tied with Jeff Cunningham with 134 goals. He's scoreless in all six league games he's played this season.
TIMBERS 3, D.C. UNITED 2
PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) - Maximiliano Urruti scored in the final minute of stoppage time to give the Portland Timbers their first win of the season with a victory over D.C. United.
Futty Danso also scored for the Timbers, who were winless for their first eight matches of the season for the team's longest span without a victory since 2012. The streak was concerning for a team that went all the way to the Western Conference final last season.
But Urruti came off the bench to snap it with a rebound from just inside the box as United goalkeeper Bill Hamid tumbled to the rainsoaked turf. There was four minutes of stoppage time at the end of the game.
The loss snapped a five-match undefeated string for United, which pulled into a 2-all tie with an own goal in the 78th minute.
SOUNDERS 2, UNION 1
SEATTLE (AP) - Chad Marshall headed in a corner kick from Marco Pappa in the 84th minute as the Seattle Sounders completed a comeback from a first-half own goal to beat the Philadelphia Union.
The Sounders (6-2-1) won their MLS-leading fourth straight game, extended their unbeaten streak to five and took the overall league lead with 19 points.
Philadelphia (1-4-5) saw its winless streak extended to eight games (0-4-4), tying a club record that was first set in 2011 and matched in 2012.
Pappa's corner kick from the right side floated into the penalty area just outside the 6-yard box. Marshall ran and headed it high into the net over goalkeeper Zac MacMath for his first of the year.
Seattle's Brad Evans gave the Union the lead in the 13th minute with an own goal. Obafemi Martins tied it for Seattle in the 61st minute, his fourth goal of the season.
DYNAMO 4, CHIVAS USA 1
CARSON, Calif. (AP) - Giles Barnes scored two goals to help lift the Houston Dynamo over Chivas USA.
Houston (3-4-2) snapped a six-match winless skid and equaled its offensive output from the last seven games. Brad Davis and Will Bruin also scored for Houston.
Erick Torres scored the lone goal for Chivas USA (1-5-3), which had its winless streak extend to eight.
Chivas finished with 10 players as goalkeeper Tim Melia was sent off in the 67th minute for tripping Bruin inside the penalty area.
