Five Lincoln golfers honored

Five Lincoln University golfers were honored Thursday by the Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association when they were named to the MIAA Academic Honor Roll.

To qualify, players must carry a cumulative grade-point average of 3.0 or higher and have completed at least two full semesters at a league school.

On the women's side, juniors Sophia Pardalos and Payton Schooler and sophomore Lauren McHenry made the team. Pardalos has a 3.676 GPA (majoring in social science education), Schooler had a 3.225 (nursing) and McHenry had a 3.211 (marketing).

For the men's team, seniors Steven Mallow (3.87, business administration) and Eric Kosmatka (3.611, marketing) made the squad.
