Blair Oaks freshmen beat Camdenton

WARDSVILLE, Mo. — The Blair Oaks Falcons took two games from the Camdenton Lakers on Thursday.

Blair Oaks rolled to an 11-1 win in Game 1, before holding on for a 2-0 victory in the nightcap.

Jason Rackers allowed one run (unearned) on three hits and struck out eight in five innings in the opener.

Thomas Versules had two hits and drove in three runs, while Ethan Rackers went 3-for-3 with an RBI to lead the Falcons at the plate in Game 1. Kade Franks had two hits, while Garrett Welschmeyer and Ryan Paschal both tallied a hit and an RBI to help pace the Blair Oaks offense.

Tanner Abbott threw five scoreless innings, allowing two hits and striking out six in five innings to earn the victory in Game 2.

Jason Rackers had the only hit for the Falcons in the nightcap, while Tyler Swehla and Paschal both scored a run.

The Falcons (20-5) will play at Southern Boone on Tuesday.
