CALIFORNIA - A gem by Clayton Meyer wasn't enough to help Russellville get a win Monday, as the Indians fell 2-1 to California.
Meyer threw a complete-game two-hitter, allowing just two unearned runs while striking out 12.
Meyer also had two hits for the Indians, while Zach Voss had one hit and one RBI.
Russellville (2-4) will play today at Vienna.
Russellville won the JV game 7-5.
