FORT PIERCE, Fla. -The Jefferson City Jays dropped a 4-3 decision Tuesday to Champaign (Ill.) Centennial.
The Jays trailed 4-0 after two innings, but scored twice in the third and one in the fourth to make it 4-3.
Brenden Ogletree had two hits for the Jays, while Hayden Strobel drove in a run. Alex Johnson pitched five innings for Jefferson City, striking out five.
On Monday, the Jays dropped a 9-5 decision to John Carroll of Florida.
Jake Walker had three hits to pace an 11-hit Jay attack in the game. Adam Grunden pitched the first five innings for the Jays, striking out one.
Jefferson City (1-3) will play again at noon today against Chestnut Hill Academy.
