LEE'S SUMMIT - The Jefferson City Lady Jays opened play in the Lee's Summit Tournament in fine style Monday, blanking Raytown 7-0.
Megan Martens had two goals for the Lady Jays.
Sarah Luebbert, Eden Hoogveld, Kaley Ruff, Natalie Vance and Katie Tambke had one goal each for Jefferson City in the victory.
Becca Sturgess picked up the shutout in goal.
Jefferson City (2-1) is scheduled to play Park Hill South at 5 p.m. Wednesday in the tournament.
