A new nail salon on Southridge Drive in Jefferson City is a dream come true for owner Tran Tran. "I always wanted to open one on my own," Tran said.
The salon, Tran Nails, opened just two weeks ago, and has already seen a big response. They have seen several familiar faces, customers who followed them in the new venture, as well as people from the neighborhood. "People who live around here saw it and came to try," Tran said, noting the location isn't near other nail salons.
Tran opened the shop with her parents after working in other area nail salons for the past few years. A Vietnam native, she has lived in Jefferson City for 4 years.
Although there are many places to get a manicure in the Capitol City, Tran said her salon offers a warm atmosphere and great customer service. They are also offering grand opening specials through April 15.
The nail salon, located at 1850 Southridge Dr., offers services in manicures and pedicures, white tips, Shellac sets and fills, both by appointment or walk-ins.
