Lincoln women wrap up Invitational

Pardalos leads golf team

MESA, Ariz. - Sophia Pardalos finished eighth to lead the Lincoln women's golf team at the FHSU Invitational on Tuesday.

Pardalos shot an 82 in each round to finish with a final score of 164, the second best of any player competing as an individual at the two-day tournament, which was hosted by Fort Hays State University at the Dobson Ranch Golf Course.

Lauren McHenry and Mackenzie Wilson also represented the Blue Tigers. McHenry took 24th after shaving 11 strokes off a first-round 96 to finish with a total score of 181. Wilson ended in 27th with a 194. The lone Lincoln freshman carded a 92 in the first round and a 102 on Tuesday.

The Blue Tigers have five days to prepare for the MWSU Golf Invitational, which will take place Sunday and Monday. The tournament, hosted by Missouri Western State, will be held at the St. Joseph Country Club.
