Dear Editor:
I am appalled at the way women's freedoms and privacy are under constant attach in our Legislature.
The two abortion bills that were passed by the House are insulting! Making women wait 72 hours for an abortion, a decision over which they have probably already struggled is simply degrading and unnecessary.
It most certainly is not to protect the woman. It is more likely that these people want to impose their religious beliefs onto everyone else. Not everyone applies the term personhood to a fetus.
It is my opinion that if you do not believe in abortion, then don't have one!
But mind your own business and leave everyone else alone. Our legislators should be concentrating on the important issues for our state, like campaign finance reform and access to health care.
