BizBeat: N2 Serenity opens second location

A local massage therapy practice has opened a second location in Osage Beach.

Sisters and business owners Jana Corbitt and Debra Stanton opened their 314 Jefferson St. business two years ago. In January, N2 Serenity Therapeutic Massage re-opened a location at the Lake, inside the Inn at Grand Glaize, a business they had closed just over a year ago.

Corbitt said the lake location has more of a spa-like atmosphere. N2 Paradise Spa offers muscle therapy, reflexology, facials, body wraps, pedicures, manicures, waxing and more. It has a party option and clients are able to take advantage of the hotel's amenities such as the pool and hot tub.

Corbitt said her family is from the Camdenton/Lake area, and decided to reopen the spa after hearing many requests.

"They need a place that works for working people," she said.

"We are aggressively affordable where all can have a maintenance plan for destressing," their website reads.

The lake location offers local and tourist pricing, Corbitt explained, saying the locals need to be able to save on the services year-round.

N2 Serenity will also be seeing some changes at its Jefferson City business. A new second-floor party room will be opening next month. The space will house a separate massage room, and a room for pedicures, manicures, waxing, etc. Space for snacks will complete the area.

Corbitt said her business works with people to pinpoint their problem areas, and work through them. That's the difference in massage and massage therapy, she said. They work with doctors and try to alleviate any pains.

"We do open on Sundays for emergencies," she said, citing techniques to help with migraines.

The local massage therapy business does offer city, state and federal worker discounts.

"They are the ones that keep us going," Corbitt said.
