CLEVELAND (AP) - Shelbie Justice scored 21 points and fifth-seeded Ball State upset top-seeded and 25th-ranked Bowling Green 73-55 in the Mid-American Conference semifinals Friday.

Ball State (18-15) has won seven straight after winning four games in five days to reach the championship game for the first time since 2009. The Cardinals will face third-seeded Akron.

Brandy Woody added 16 points, and Brittany Carter had 13.

Erica Donovan had 17 points for Bowling Green (27-4). The Falcons had won 13 straight.

NO. 22 MIDDLE TENNESSEE 64, FIU 57

EL PASO, Texas (AP) - Ebony Rowe had 25 points and 14 rebounds to help top-seeded Middle Tennessee beat 13th-seeded Florida International in the Conference USA semifinals.

Olivia Jones added 12 points and 11 rebounds for the Blue Raiders (28-4). They will face second-seeded Southern Mississippi in the championship game Saturday.

Jerica Coley had 19 points and 12 rebounds for FIU (15-18).
