Jays Kids Club
The Jefferson City Jays advanced 17 wrestlers to regionals from the district tournament held Saturday.
Regional qualifiers include:
• 8-and-under: Hurley Jacobs Jr., first; Zane Wings and Boston Howard, third.
• 10-and-under: Tanner Quick, second; Daniel Kroeger, Michael Friederich, A'Tiq Muhammad and Quincey Frye, third; William Berendzen, fourth.
• 12-and-under: Zak Wilson and Brandon Backues, first; Corbin Rowland, second; Kenny Richardson, fifth; Jack Salmons, sixth.
• 14-and-under: Reece Neighbors, first; Joshua Bayless, third; Cole Bax, fifth.
The regional tournament will be held Saturday in Arnold, with the top four in each weight class advancing to state.
