GENEVA, Ohio - One area athlete took part in the NAIA Indoor Track and Field Championships that wrapped up Sunday.
Tanner Edwards (Tipton High School) was part of the William Woods 4x400-meter relay team that finished fifth. After qualifying with a time of 3:15.79, the Owls posted a mark of 3:16.04 in the finals.
The Owls finished 19th as a team with 12 points. Indiana Tech won the championship with a total of 82 points, 13 better than Wayland Baptist.
