The St. Mary's Health Center Foundation will award a maximum of $10,000 in scholarships this spring. The scholarships help students in the community who are enrolled in an academic health care program or who are pursuing a degree in other allied health care professions.
Applicants must have completed at least half of their program of study and have permanent residence in the hospital's nine-county service area in Mid-Missouri, which includes Cole, Osage, Miller, Moniteau, Callaway, Gasconade, Maries, Camden and Morgan counties; or be a dependent of an employee of St. Mary's Health Center. Scholarships will also be available to full-time or part-time employees of St. Mary's who are seeking education or training to further their technical, medical or professional abilities in health care.
