Norfleet honored in UCM Hall of Fame

Matt Norfleet is one of the newest members of the University of Central Missouri Athletic Hall of Fame, as he was part of the 2014 class inducted Saturday morning.

Norfleet (Helias High School) played baseball for the Mules from 1996-99. He was a first-team All-American in 1999, the same year he was the Region Player of the Year and the co-Most Valuable Player of the Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association. He was a two-time first-team all-MIAA selection.

Norfleet still ranks third in school history in career doubles (59) and is tied for fifth in RBI (179) and tied for eighth in home runs (26). He had 212 career hits.
