A Jefferson City woman has been charged with distributing methamphetamine.
Ashley Karantza, 28, of 1726 W. Main St., is also charged with two counts of distributing the controlled substance IP240, a form of acetaminophen/oxycodone.
Court records show a MUSTANG Drug Task Force confidential informant contacted Karantza by phone for purchases of these drugs on two separate occasions in March 2013 at two different locations in the Capital City.
As of Wednesday afternoon, Karantza was being held on $100,000 bond in the Cole County Jail.
