LOS ANGELES (AP) - Maya Moore scored 31 points to lead the Minnesota Lynx to a 94-77 win against the Los Angeles Sparks on Tuesday night.

Moore scored 16 of Minnesota's 32 points in the third quarter as the Lynx (9-3) snapped a two-game losing streak and avoided their fourth loss in five games. Moore shot 12 for 16 from the field in her highest-scoring game since a career-high 38-point game last month.

Seimone Augustus added 14 points while Lindsay Whalen had 12 points and seven assists for Minnesota, which equaled a season highs for points and set season highs for field goals (37) and field-goal percentage (64 percent).

Alana Beard led the Sparks (3-7) with 18 points and Candace Parker had 16 points as Los Angeles lost four straight games for the first time since 2011.

SUN 89, FEVER 67

UNCASVILLE, Conn. (AP) - Katie Douglas and Chiney Ogwumike scored 18 points apiece and the Sun won their fifth straight game beating the Fever.

The Sun (7-6) moved into second place in the WNBA's Eastern Conference after beginning the month in last place.

Kelsey Bone scored 16 for the Sun, while Alyssa Thomas had 10 points and seven rebounds.

Connecticut used a 22-2 run in the third period to lead by as many as 25.

Lynetta Kizer led Indiana (5-5) with a career-high 13 points. Erlana Larkins added 10 and Shavonte Zellous scored nine before she was ejected with 3:48 left in the third period for arguing with the officials.

Connecticut led 34-29 at halftime. Bone had 11 points to lead the Sun in the first half, scoring all the points in the final five minutes.
