Linda George and Jane Bedsworth from the Missouri River Quilt Guild donated 15 handmade quilts to the Special Learning Center (SLC) in Jefferson City.
Children at the SLC will use the quilts during nap time.
The guild has been in existence for more 25 years and is growing with more than 100 members. The group meets monthly and accepts new members. It donates quilts to nonprofits such as the SLC, Red Cross and Habitat for Humanity.
