ROSEMONT, Ill. (AP) - Tanisha Wright scored 17 points to help the Seattle Storm beat short-handed Chicago, which was missing star Elena Delle Donne, 80-76 on Tuesday night.
Delle Donne, who is second in the league in scoring at just over 22 points a game, was sidelined with a reported flareup of Lyme Disease that plagued her in college. Forward Jessica Breland also sat out with a lower leg injury. Chicago is still without Sylvia Fowles, who is recovering from off-season hip surgery. She's expected back later this month.
Chicago (5-4) did get a strong effort from Epiphanny Prince, who was playing her second game of the season after sitting out the first seven games because of burnout. Prince had 18 points for the Sky, who have dropped three straight.
Camille Little added 13 points and Sue Bird had 12 for the Storm (4-6).
SHOCK 72, LIBERTY 57
TULSA, Okla. (AP) - Skylar Diggins led Tulsa with 21 points as the Shock earned their second consecutive victory with a 72-57 win over the Liberty.
Former Oklahoma player Courtney Paris had 12 points and a career-best 16 rebounds for her fifth double-double of the season. Rookie Odyssey Sims added 10 points.
New York's Tina Charles led all scorers with 25 points, tying her season high on 11-of-19 shooting. She was the only Liberty player to score in double figures.
MERCURY 81, MYSTICS 66
WASHINGTON (AP) - Brittney Griner scored a season-high 20 points to help the Mercury to a victory over the Mystics.
Diana Taurasi added 13 points and 10 assists for Phoenix (6-2), which has won two straight and is 2-1 so far on a five-game road trip. Candice Dupree scored 18 points and DeWanna Bonner added 14 for the Mercury.
Emma Meesseman scored a career-high 14 points for Washington (4-5), which has lost three straight and its last two at home. No other player scored in double figures for the Mystics, who are now just 2-4 at Verizon Center but 2-1 on the road.
Dupree and Griner each hit two baskets as the Mercury opened the second half on a 10-0 run to take a 47-37 lead.
