BLUE SPRINGS, Mo. -- Kearney scored its game-winning goal with less than 35 seconds left in overtime to beat the Helias Lady Crusaders 2-1 in a Class 2 girls soccer semifinal contest on Friday.
Helias will play Rosati-Kain, who lost to Visitation Academy 7-0 in the other semifinal, for third place at noon Saturday at Blue Springs High School. (This is a change from the original schedule.)
