BRIDGEVIEW, Ill. (AP) - Landon Donovan scored in the 74th minute to give the Los Angeles Galaxy a 1-1 tie with the Chicago Fire on Sunday.

Donovan has three goals in two games since he was left off the U.S. World Cup team roster. After going scoreless in his first six matches, he scored twice in Los Angeles' 4-1 victory over Philadelphia last Sunday.

Robbie Keane set up the goal, forced a turnover by Fire midfielder Chris Ritter. The Galaxy's Robbie Rogers tracked down the ball to the right of the goal and fed the wide-open Donovan on the left.

Fire captain Jeff Larentowicz converted a penalty kick in the 68th minute.

Los Angeles (4-3-4) extended its unbeaten streak to three matches at 1-0-2.

Chicago (2-3-7) is 2-1-1 in its last four games.

WHITECAPS 4, TIMBERS 3

PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) - Pedro Morales scored on a pair of penalty kicks and Vancouver held off Portland in a Cascadia Cup rivalry match.

Erik Hurtado and Jordan Harvey also scored for the Whitecaps, who beat the Timbers for the first time since the two teams joined Major League Soccer in 2011.

The victory extended Vancouver's unbeaten streak to five straight matches.

The loss snapped a six-match unbeaten streak for the Timbers, who got goals from Maximiliano Urruti, Gaston Fernandez and Will Johnson.

RAPIDS 3, DYNAMO 0

COMMERCE CITY, Colo. (AP) - Deshorn Brown scored two goals in Colorado's victory over Houston.

Kamani Hill added a goal for Colorado (6-4-3). Houston dropped to 5-8-2.
