A Jefferson City man was indicted by a federal grand jury Wednesday for possessing methamphetamine with the intent to distribute.
Christopher Eugene Ronimous, also known as "Rodney," 38, is accused of being in possession of 50 grams or more of methamphetamine with the intent to distribute on July 7.
According to court reports, Jefferson City police officers stopped a vehicle for improper registration. Ronimous, a passenger in the vehicle, got out of the car while officers conducted a search. While standing outside the vehicle, a small can fell from Ronimous's shorts. Inside the can was approximately five grams of methamphetamine and three "hits" of LSD.
Ronimous was arrested and transported to the police station where he was observed reaching into his crotch area while inside an interview room. An officer conducted a more thorough search of Ronimous and discovered two bags containing approximately 50 additional grams of methamphetamine.
