MINNEAPOLIS (AP) - Seimone Augustus scored 17 points in her return from a knee injury and the Minnesota Lynx beat the San Antonio Stars 88-78 on Friday night for their sixth straight victory.

After missing eight games and the All-Star Game because of bursitis in her left knee, Augustus received a loud ovation as she was introduced in the starting lineup. The cheers were even louder in the fourth quarter when she fueled a 12-0 run that put the game out of reach.

Lindsey Whalen added 14 points to help Minnesota (19-6) beat San Antonio for the 10th straight time at Target Center. Maya Moore had 12 points three nights after scoring a career-high 48 against Atlanta.

Danielle Robinson led the Stars (12-13) with 15 points.

Minnesota led by 10 points in the third quarter before San Antonio used a 13-6 run to cut the Lynx's lead to 52-51 with 5:15 to play in the period.

SKY 79, DREAM 75

ATLANTA (AP) - Epiphanny Prince scored 21 points and Chicago held off Eastern Conference-leading Atlanta at Georgia Tech's McCamish Pavilion.

Jessica Breland added 15 points, Allie Quigley had 13, and Sylvia Fowles finished with 12 points and 12 rebounds for the Sky (10-14).

Sancho Lyttle and Tiffany Hayes each had 15 points for Atlanta (15-8). The Dream have lost three straight for the first time this season.

MYSTICS 82, SHOCK 77

WASHINGTON (AP) - Ivory Latta scored 17 points and Washington beat Tulsa despite making only one field goal in the fourth quarter.

Monique Currie scored 16 points - all on free throws - for Washington (12-13). The Mystics have won three in a row and five of six.

Skylar Diggins led Tulsa (8-17) with 19 points.
