MLS rescinds red card for Sporting's Collin

KANSAS CITY, Kan. - Aurelien Collin of Sporting K.C. is able to play today against Los Angeles after his red card was rescinded by MLS.

The league's independent review panel looked at the play for which he was sent off in the 55th minute against Columbus on Wednesday. Collin and the Crew's Adam Bedell both went up for the ball, and appeared to make contact in the air. Bedell fell to the turf clutching his face and Collin was shown a red card and sent off.

Sporting K.C. beat Columbus 2-1 on a stoppage-time goal after Columbus' Wil Trapp was sent off for a second yellow card.
