Missouri man struck, killed on US 36

HANNIBAL, Mo. (AP) - A northeast Missouri man is dead after being struck by a tractor-trailer while walking on a highway.

The Quincy (Illinois) Herald-Whig (http://bit.ly/1omn5pM) reports that 45-year-old Kenneth L. Rosenburg of Hannibal died Wednesday night.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says Rosenburg was walking on U.S. 36 in Hannibal when he was struck by the tractor-trailer driven by a Chicago man. It wasn't clear why Rosenburg was on the roadway.
