TULSA, Okla. (AP) - Tamika Catchings scored nine of her 23 points in the fourth quarter, including the tiebreaking basket with 5.2 seconds remaining to lift the Indiana Fever past the Tulsa Shock 78-76 on Tuesday night.

Catchings, playing in just her second game this season after missing Indiana's first 17 contests due to a sore back, also had 11 rebounds and was announced as a starter for the Eastern Conference in the All-Star game later this month.

Shavonte Zellous had 18 points for the Fever (9-10).

Skylar Diggins, announced as a starter for the West, scored 23 points for Tulsa (7-12).

The Shock trailed by 15 points in the fourth quarter before tying the score on Courtney Paris' layup with 16.7 seconds to go.

That set up Catchings' winning basket as she caught a pass from Erlana Larkins and made a layup.

DREAM 83, SUN 71

ATLANTA (AP) - Angel McCoughtry scored 12 of her 22 points in the third quarter, Tiffany Hayes added 17 points and Atlanta beat Connecticut.

The Dream (13-5) have won two straight and four of five, retaining their 4 1/2-game lead in the Eastern Conference.

Sun rookie Chiney Ogwumike, the WNBA's No. 1 overall draft pick, finished with 19 points and 12 rebounds and Alex Bentley added 19 points. Connecticut (9-11) has lost five of six and dropped into a third-place tie with idle Chicago, one-half game behind Indiana.

The Sun's Katie Douglas, who began the game with 27 3-pointers in her last 10 games, hit her third 3 to cut lead to 51-43 midway through the third, but Connecticut never got any closer.

Atlanta went on a 16-6 run that included seven points and two rebounds by McCoughtry and Shoni Schimmel's 3-pointer.

LYNX 82, SPARKS 72

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) - Maya Moore scored 16 of her 30 points in the fourth quarter to lead Minnesota.

Lindsay Whalen added 16 points as the Lynx (14-6) improved to 8-1 at home.

Jantel Lavender scored 17 points and Candace Parker added 16 for Los Angeles (7-11), which closed the third quarter with a 9-0 run to take a 59-56 lead.

Moore, announced the top vote-getter in All-Star balloting earlier in the evening, then took over for the defending champions.

Nneka Ogwumike led all rebounders with 14 for the Sparks, who lost their second game in a row.
