Plans for Ha Ha Tonka State Park to be discussed

The public is invited to bring their ideas to an informational meeting at Ha Ha Tonka State Park on Saturday, July 5. The open house-style meeting will be from 1-3 p.m. at the park Visitor Center.

Park representatives will provide information on future plans for the facility and answer questions. Visitors are invited to share comments and suggestions about park services and operations. The meeting is part of an ongoing effort by Missouri state parks to allow citizens input regarding the facilities and services offered in state parks and historic sites.

The meeting will take place in conjunction with other family friendly water-related activities focused around the theme, "Water, what you don't see matters most."

Ha Ha Tonka State Park is located five miles southwest of Camdenton via U.S. Highway 54 to Route D. Individuals requiring special services or accommodations to attend the meeting can make arrangements by calling 573-346-2986.
