A Jefferson City man was hurt Thursday afternoon when the motorcycle he was driving ran off a Cole County road and crashed into a rock.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports Nicholas P. Schaben, 26, was thrown from the bike as it flipped.
Schaben sustained serious injuries in the wreck, which occurred at 3:50 p.m. on Zion Road almost a mile west of Route C. He was transported by ambulance to University Hospital, Columbia.
